Updates
Current notices from Moonbeam Astronomy Club, including meetup reminders, weather notes, and seasonal skywatching highlights.
We are still meeting at Riverside Field at 8:00 PM if cloud cover remains below forecast limits. Please bring a red-light flashlight and dress for cooler late-evening temperatures.
If rain probability exceeds 60% two hours before start time, we will post a same-day hold notice here. A reschedule note is typically shared within 24 hours.
This month offers a wider evening window for spotting the Andromeda Galaxy from darker edges of town. See the updated finder notes in our guides page before the next clear night.
We are refreshing the setup and teardown rotation for October and November meetups. Members who can arrive 20 minutes early are welcome to add their names this week.
On overcast evenings we now have access to the Riverbend Library community room for a short discussion and chart review, keeping meetup time useful even without open skies.
